In the Job Openings section of your website, you mention that you will be looking for Quality Assurance testers. I am understanding that to mean that you are looking for people to beta-test the game to see if they can find any bugs, glitches, typos, etc.
Besides owning a DS and (presumably)having some experience with RPGs and games that are riddled with glitches, are there any other requirements that you are looking for in this position? For example, would it help if I lived in Montreal and if I have a great deal of free time to test the game?

Is there an age requirment for the QA Testing job, because I'm only 15 but I would love to test the game. I've played some betas before and its always good to play a game in advance and help the devopers. Because if you make the game, you'll look at it differently than someone who is playing it for the first time.

Bumping this. I know a beta isn't ready, but I really want to play one when it is. And I'm 16 now, if it matters.

Hi guys, I'd love to test your game too. I'm a professional tester at Enzyme Testing Labs. I currently test hot games from Ubisoft and LucasArts. Anyway, I can't borrow the equipment at work to test your game, but you have me! Trust me - if there are bugs, I'll find them!

Hmmm... I think most of the active users here in this forum would like to test the game....

So, testing the game would mean to play it everyway possible; trying to find bugs and gliches? Somehow, I think that may ruin the game for some people...playing it to find errors rather than enjoyment. [/img]

It wouldn't bother me and it would make glad if I could help them in any way I can.

I thought about how I used to play games like FFVI, Chrono Trigger, and Secert of Mana over and over trying to do everything and anything. Now, if I go back to play them, it's actually more of a burden to sit through parts of the games since I know everything that's going to happen. I wouldn't want that to happen to PE. I'll just preorder it whenever they get a release date.

Maybe we could each test a certain part? I know that's probably a stupid idea, but it would get rid of the boredom because you're only testing one part of the game instead of ruining the whole game.

That sounds good. I hope I don't get the ending. |

I wonder if they would do that; let people test certain parts. Sounds like it would take more work to break the game into parts. I wonder who is going to publish it...maybe in the next up date we'll know.

Unfortunately, it's not possible to test a specific part of a RPG. You have to test the entire game, from the beginning to the end.

That's why I said it was a stupid idea, but I decided to contribute it nonetheless.

The job opening part on the website says: "No openings at this time."
Does that mean, that they aren't looking anymore for quality assurance testers? |
