I remember when you could burn them back in the late 1950's and early
1960's. A controlled burn in 50 gallon cans. But that stopped in the late
1960's The EPA was created. Now you can't even rake them in a pile
along the curbside and leave them there. You have to bag or place them
in a garbage can and wait weeks for the public works to pick them up
If they ever show up before they blow all over the streets...now they
have code enforcers who are self appointed and drive around the towns
looking for houses will huge piles of leaves. Meanwhile the public works
are off doing other things..taking off personnel days, sicks days,
vacations atlantic city NJSLOM conventions..maybe one of these days
we can really solve these problems with leaves. You can visit any
chiropractor doctor these days and I'm sure that a third of his clients
are over 50 who have sprained their backs picking up leaves during the
october november leaf seasons..
And than comes the snow season... _________________ Have you Greased the Palm of a Politician Today!!
