The Star Ledger the biggest newspaper in NJ has asked The Teamsters
to sign a contract that will closed the 2008 contracts. The newspaper
has over 300000 hundred thousand subscribers with a half million circulation. 250 Non Union members have taken buy outs which leaves
the 150 Union CWA ITU and GLU and Teamsters a four year contract.
The Middlesex Pacatiway Plant was shut down in June and the Monvale
Plant is the heart of operations in NJ. Newark Plant is for reporters and
journalist.
