I had to endure a lot of morning and evening commutes from NY
to Newarks Penn Station these past three years. I had to walk
drive past the outsourced Pru Center Stadium that was being built
for the NJ Devils, most of these construction crews where out of
state contract bidders. I never once read a NJ construction logo
or panel van, or trailer that had a NJ professional service printed
on the side of the truck. I read in a southern newspaper that several
EST's came up from the South to do the electrical wiring and technical
outlays for the Prudential Stadium. Nothing about the hiring of Electricians
from NJ ever made the NJ newspapers. Last week it opened and of course
they paid Rocker Liberial I wanna be a shiny politician John Bon Jovi
? Million Dollars do do a number of nights as opener for the Prudential
Stadium. The Star Ledger even ran a story what John Bon Jovi thought
of the brand new Newarks Prudential Hockey Stadium.
If someone handed me several million dollars to say something about
a stadium that would be as easy as taking candy from a baby.
The real facts It shouldn't be called Newarks Prudential Stadium
It should be called Newarks Political Coffers and sometime Devils
Hockey Stadium...
