Barnes & Noble Inc. announced Monday that pre-orders for "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" have topped 750,000 copies, well ahead of the pace of the last Potter book, which came out two years ago.

The new Potter book, the sixth in J.K. Rowling's fantasy series, is scheduled to come out July 16 with a first printing of 10.8 million copies.

I am addicted just like my daughter but they need to get busy on the movies~ By the time Harry graduates he's be 25 in real life! Rolling Eyes

We own all the books so far and the movies... The kids have the trivia games, t-shirts, memorabilia... You name it.

I was not cool with it at first, but once I started reading the books~ Hell yeah! Wink

I hate trends... Confused

Well I never read the books cause I am not much of a reader for one and enver really get time to. I have seen most of the movies and they are descent, but I do not think I would buy it for me. Just not really my type of thing. I am not much into sci fi and stuff usuallly I will not even watch it but those were pretty good.

When the last book was released, they decked out a train up in Duluth for it, did a reading the whole 9 yards. I knew some people that went and they had a blast. They held it at midnight when the book was released and I guess it was crowded with adults and kids~ lol

Read it~ Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. Started it about 1000 yesterday, finished it about 1515 today and NO, I did not stay up all night reading.

Tied some loose ends, made many more. I knew who was going to die about 10 minutes after Becca got off the plane but was not told who did it. Not a book for the younger readers IMO, that means the reviews were pretty straight about that fact.

Book number 7 is supposed to be the end of the stories, but I am not sure how they will accomplish that with what was revealed in this book. Confused

lol i read mine in 4 hours lol i speed read i have all the books and we are slowly working onthe movies we did buy the jelly beans i donot recommend them lol my daughters had fun messing with everyone with them lol

My eyesight is too bad to read, so I'll be like Chris and Robert and just wait for the movie!! Smile
