I am sorry to see this, but it looks like SDVI is delaying Black Sigil again. I think the major retailers are starting to come into the picture. If you look at Wal-Mart's website, they have Black Sigil as being in stores, but not in stock. I am guessing that Best Buy and Target could follow. They are doing what is best for their company and the distribution of the games so it is readily available to consumers.

Signature Devices, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: SDVI) is announcing that the Company's subsidiary, Graffiti Entertainment, Inc., is revising the release dates for its upcoming products.

Air Conflicts : Aces of World War II is shipping to retailers on April 7th, 2009. Black Sigil : Blade of the Exiled and C.O.R.E. have a new release date of May 12th, 2009.

"We are happy that Air Conflicts will ship in the next few days, but we are holding back Black Sigil and C.O.R.E. until after April," stated Kenneth Hurley, CEO of Signature Devices, Inc. and Graffiti Entertainment, Inc. "We are receiving wider distribution on these two titles by delaying their release for a couple of weeks. We know gamers are excited about these two titles and want to get it into the widest distribution possible to ensure gamers can find it at their local retailer."

This is so very sad to hear. After reading the last post that April was the final delay I went over to amazon and pre-ordered it. Now I find out i am going to have to wait even longer, again. A shame to be sure, but hopefully it will mean better sales.

On a side note I have to wonder what is going on with Archcraft, are they still making games? Or did the company dissolve after the delays in getting this game out?

Ouch, and here I was hoping it was just a late April Fool's Joke. :/

Oh well, just means more time to save up enough money to buy it. I really hope the game sells well, especially with the news on the Studio Archcraft website about a new project being started.

I hope this means that Amazon.ca will actually stock it. Suffice to say, spending an arm and leg to import it from the States was not looking like an appealing option.

For anyone confused on why we are holding back Black Sigil and C.O.R.E.

The major order will be 30% greater if we postpone to May. The retailer manages inventory on DS and PSP games and closes out their quarters by reducing inventory. They order less product and ask publishers to help liquidate their inventory.

The buyer asked that we hold up the product for a few weeks for a better order.

We've received Air Conflicts from Sony in the office, which means the rest of the inventory is on it's way to retailers.

Regards,

Kenneth Hurley

I just saw this today in a press release. It shows that Graffiti Entertainment is getting games out the door. Hopefully Black Sigil will be next!

Signature Devices, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: SDVI) announced today that its wholly owned subsidiary, Graffiti Entertainment, Inc., has released its arcade flight simulation game Air Conflicts: Aces of World War II for the PSP(R) (PlayStation(R)Portable) system to retail stores nationwide.

"Air Conflicts puts the greatest planes of WWII in the palm of your hand," says Kenneth Hurley, CEO of Signature Devices, Inc. and Graffiti Entertainment, Inc. "It features true to the time aircraft designs, 13 campaigns with more than 240 action-packed missions and incredible graphics that immerse players in a beautiful, rich and realistic world."

Air Conflicts is an arcade flight simulator game set in World War II featuring the aircraft of this period and historically inspired missions. The emphasis is on intense dogfights, daring bombing raids and exciting aerial missions.

As a pilot in World War II, players experience action-packed missions that progress on a historically based timeline, and features genuine medals and ranks. Choose to fly one of 17 authentic planes for the US Air Force, Royal Air Force, Luftwaffe or Red Army Air Force. In the gallery, players can also view rotating 3D models of every plane in the game and get specific information and stats about the real-world aircraft.

Air Conflicts: Aces of World War II key features:

-- Authentic historical timeline and missions
-- Easy control scheme that allows for fun aerial battles
-- 17 historically authentic aircraft designs
-- Wireless capabilities include a multiplayer mode for up to 8 players

Developed by Cowboy Rodeo, Air Conflicts: Aces of World War II is rated T and retails for $29.99.
