| Actually I downloaded it after reading that. Now that I've played it (4 hours in and I love it!) I wish I had the money to actually buy it. |

| Sounds good...I bought it but I don't even have a PSP yet; I was going to get one like a month ago but Sony is releasing a new version in September, so I decided to wait. |

I'm currently playing Tales of Phantasia (GBA) on the NDS and I like it. The real-time combat system is a nice alternative to that turn-based combat system that is usually used in Final Fantasy. But it's sometimes hard and unfair, if the party gets surrounded by enemies or the enemy pushes the party into a corner.
The story is ok, it's not a crazy twisted weird FF story. It's easy to understand and it has some nice plot twists. |

| I started playing that game, but then I think I got FFIV advance and stopped playing it. I never beat it on the GBA but completed the game on a ROM. The GBA has "different" voice acting for that game, but it is still a great game. All of the Tales series are good games. |

| I'm waiting for the DS version of FF IV. And if the FF V and FF VI won't get a DS port then I should try to get them somehow. |

| I was going to start playing the SNES version of IV I finally tracked down, but now I'm waiting for the DS remake. Then again, I'm really slow at completing RPGs, so I probably wouldn't get very far. |

Right now im playing through Wild Arms 4 and am loving it!!! I thought the series got VERY stale with part 3 and aparentally they did too.
Wild Arms 4 is a complete overhaul to the series. It has a brand new battle system, really cool platforming segments that break up the usual monotiny of dungons, brand new styles of puzzles to solve and more. Yet after all this it still FEELS like a Wild Arms game!
In my opinion this is the perfect example of how to reinvigorate a stale series and not stray to far from its roots. |
