Got a call from our 2nd in command for State Parks and Cultural Resources. They want me to catelog a collection that we got from the Wyoming National Guard, which has stuff that is suppose to date back to the Civil War.
I do not know why they wanted me to do it, but I'll have to see if we can make it work out so everyone can be satisfied. They want me to drive there everday, 100 miles round trip. I can't do that, but I am gonna meet with them today to see if we can haul some of it down here to work on it, and then the big stuff I would do there.
I don't know, but it sounds like fun, I just don't want to loose in the long run . . . I mean no one drives to Cheyenne everyday in the Winter months . . .

WOW talk about overwhelmed . . . There are 3 garage size rooms full of stuff, one (an old bank vault room) which is nothing but uniforms, swords, rifles, handguns, helmets boots, shoes . . . etc . . . a lot of stuff!!
I guess I will do the job, but my boss (immediate supervisor type), negotiated that I get help, and a state vehicle to drive as well as a mileage. It would have been 2000 to 2300 miles per month that I would have put on my personal vehicle. |

I have one or two I haven't got sent. I'll forward them. It probably won't be doing this, but it would be in the AO, and we always look for volunteers . . .
Then there is always vacation next summer!! LOL!!  |

Well it hasn't happened as far as I know, but I know they will be looking for someone to BE the director of the Veterans Museum in Casper WY.

Yep, it looks like 3 of us will be working on the project together . . .
